Project UPTOWN

coming soon

A collection of narratives from Washington DC’s Vietnamese refugee community. Framed by the increasing threat of gentrification during the late 1990s, the intergenerational work explores how identity is informed by the social structures around us and defines what it means to be part of a community hanging onto its mother culture.

In collaboration with Cameron Robert.
